Take a video tour through Breitling’s New York boutique with iW contributor Alex Lee. The boutique boasts a 4,500-square-foot space on E. 57th Street and contains three floors of unique timepieces.
The first floor displays collections of watches available for purchase while the second contains display cases and walls featuring Breitling’s historic timepieces- some dating back to the 1930s. The third floor is reserved as a hospitality area where guests can relax with and enjoy espresso, champagne or cocktails. The location also plays host to events for fans around the globe. Ever first Wednesday of the month, “Wednesday Night Flight” takes place. Clients are invited to an after-hours visit to learn more about watchmaking and the brand and is hosted by a Breitling watchmaker.
“The people who come into our store know so much about watchmaking and style,” says Thierry Prissert, President of Breitling USA, of the New York watch environment. “They know how to identify quality–they can tell you all about the in-house movements and different functions. As watchmakers, that’s something we really appreciate.”
