Citizen Watch Celebrates 25th Anniversary as U.S. Open Timekeeper

In recognition of Citizen’s 25th Anniversary as the Official Timekeeper of the U.S. Open (which begins next week), as well as the company’s recently announced partnership with tennis legend, Billie Jean King, two new Special Edition commemorative timepieces are being introduced. Both are powered by Citizen’s Eco-Drive technology. The first, the Citizen PRT 25th Anniversary U.S. Open Commemorative Edition has a dark navy-blue dial with a stainless steel case and bracelet. The watch is embellished with the official U. S. Open logo, and it is a limited edition of 1,100 pieces. Price: $250.

The second, the Billie Jean King Commemorative watch, is designed with the active woman in mind. The 36mm stainless steel timepiece has a mother-of-pearl dial and a white vegan leather strap. King’s signature is displayed on the caseback, and the purchase of this timepiece will directly support the Billie Jean King Leadership Initiative. Price: $225.
