Glashütte-based Nomos brightens the summer with additions to its already popular Aqua collection. Two new automatic models, one in the Club collection and one from the Ahoi series, have been dressed in what the brand calls “siren white” to emphasize their poolside sportiness.

Both feature red digits, hour markers and small seconds hands while the Club adds blued five-minute markers. In the evening each watch’s hands and indexes will glow with a strong coat of green or blue SuperLuminova.

Because each watch is powered by the Nomos Neomatik caliber DUW 3001, the firm’s own 3.2mm-thin automatic movement (with the Nomos proprietary Swing System escapement), each watch is lightweight and quite efficient.

Both models are also vintage-sized, with the Nomos Ahoi Neomatik available in a classic size of 36.3mm while the Club Neomatik is a bit larger at 37mm in diameter.

In other words, these are unisex models.
Like the current Aqua models, these new 200-meter water-resistant watches come on a light gray textile strap designed by Nomos Glashütte and woven to the company’s specifications in France. Nomos says that the exterior surface of these straps is made to be robust while the inner fine weave is meant for comfort.
