The watch features a built-in three-axis accelerometer that helps you keep track of your step count, a program that lets you create up to twenty timer combinations of five timers each and memory for up to 200 lap records. The app also makes it possible to maintain step count logs with five exercise intensity levels, calculate the calories you burn, specify a daily step target, create timer combinations and then send them to the watch.

Of course, all the expected timekeeping features are here, including app-based auto time setting correction, world timer, alarms and auto LED Light (super illuminator) to facilitate workouts in areas where lighting is dim.

G-SHOCK GBD800-8, with re-designed strap for enhanced comfort.
G-SHOCK has also re-designed the strap for enhanced comfort. Inside the strap (where it connects to the case) G-SHOCK has designed a new band ring shape that prevents sliding and has added more holes to allow more flexibility as you adjust for tightness.

With a mid-size 54.1mm by 48.6mm case that's perfect for running and training, Bluetooth, phone app linking and much more, these new Power Trainer models are the perfect, most affordable, choice for sporty G-SHOCK fans. Price: $99, available at G-SHOCK retailers including Macy’s, the G-SHOCK Soho Store, and gshock.com.
