Manfredi Jewels, an iW Leading Watch Retailer, recently officially opened its new store in New Canaan, Connecticut (for details, see here) and celebrated its watch lineup last week with an exhibition of Rolex Sky-Dwellers. At this first in-store watch event for the new location, Manfredi and Rolex teamed to show new Rolex Sky- Dweller models, including the latest model, which is Rolex’s most complicated watch to date featuring both a dual time zone function along with annual calendar. Rolex filed for fourteen new patents for the new model’s caliber 9001 movement design.
The new Manfredi Jewels is found at a former Henry Reid and Son store in New Caanan, about a twenty-minute drive from the store’s primary location in Greenwich, Connecticut. Henry Reid and Son, a neighborhood jeweler that has been serving the New Canaan area for decades, maintains its Fairfield, Connecticut, location.
At both Manfredi Jewels stores, buyers can choose from among thirty-four watch brands, though Rolex will only be sold at the new location, alongside Baume & Mercier and Hermes, according to Manfredi owner Roberto Chiapelloni.
